In June 2020, a contract was formally signed between Mcwell and the Chengdu Tianfu International Airport. At present, the project is in its installation stage and expected to be delivered for final check and hand-over in mid-December.
Located in Sichuan Province, China, the Chengdu Tianfu International Airport is the largest civil aviation hub project planned and constructed during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, as well as an important air gateway to Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia and Southeast Asia. It plays an important role in integration into the "Belt and Road Initiative" and the Yangtze River Economic Zone strategy.
Smoke ventilation window is installed on the roof of a building, and its performance in waterproofing, fire protection, smoke exhaust, lighting and other aspects form a crucial part of the usage experience of the whole building, with waterproof performance being the utmost concern. How can natural ventilator prevent water leakage? What kind of automatic smoke vent windows can ensure no water leakage? Solutions to these two issues were the primary priorities for the project owner and contractor as they met with different smoke vent manufacturers from both China and abroad during the bidding process.
The "nail-free and glue-free waterproof structure" technology invented by Mcwell fundamentally resolves automatic smoke vent windows leakage hazard, and it was exactly the solution that the project owner and contractor sought, thus it was natural for Mcwell to win the bid for this landmark project.
